MERRY CHIRSTMAS!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas to all! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! We did. We actually did most of our festivities during the weekend as Joshua was spending this Christmas with his mom. But we had a ton of fun. Saturday we had breakfast at my parent's house & opened presents. Then that night we went to Daniel's mom's house & opened some more presents. The boys got SPOILED!

I attempted to have my son wear a "somewhat nice" shirt for Christmas, but he wouldn't go for it. He insisted on wearing his orange camo truck shirt. As a parent, you must pick your battles....I let him win this one! Oh well, maybe next year I'll win!! (Wishful thinking!)

Sunday we went sledding & Joshua & I were the winners! We had lots of fun! Well, Dawson didn't like it too much after he got a bunch of snow in his face, but he did good for his first time.

Yesterday Santa came to the house of course & Dawson was excited. The rest of the day we hung out & then had family over last night..But there were no more presents to open. Thank goodness for that- our house already doesn't fit the one's we have!!!! Okay, lots of pictures below. Enjoy................

Finally, SNOW!!!

So, after a very dry fall, we are FINALLY seeing some snow! And now, it's a ton of snow. Within about three days we got 30+ inches. CRAZY I TELL YOU! Daniel kept having to plow, and then re-plow. Fun for him. But Dawson did get to help his daddy & he LOVED that! He's such a boy's boy!

Happy Turkey Day! We split the day. We ate at Daniel's mom & stepdad's house and then we went to my parent's house & let the kiddos all play together. We had wayyy too much food, but it was fun and the boys enjoyed it all!!! Yay for Yams!!!

Okay, for those of you that don’t know- and I’m sure there’s not many of you- I am ghetto. I finally received my wedding album back, and there were some really cute pictures. Of course, I can’t show you people because you’re not here!!! So, I took my camera & took a picture of the pictures…..Yes, I know-GHETTO!!! So here is my wedding…….

Familymoon

So I never did post any pictures of our "Familymoon". We went to Denver for a few days (it was cut a day short cuz Daniel can't stand the city for long) and we did lots of family activities, shopping, and swimming at the hotel. Also, the hotel had a "golf course" which was just a couple of holes that the kids could put along at. They loved doing that during any off time at the hotel. The whole week was a nice break from normal life.

My favorite part of Casa Bonita...Playing games!!! I was addicted to this darn game, but hey, I won a lot of tickets.

Here are the boys posing by the fish. The Aquarium was a lot of fun the boys enjoyed it....Though Dawson hated being in the stroller.

We also went to the zoo, but the only pictures I got were of the actual animals- and who really cares about those!!! Dawson fell asleep in his stroller so I didn't get one of the boys. And I think Daniel was in a hurry to leave & Joshua didn't care about having his picture taken. It was such a hot, hot, hot day I don't think any of us were focused!

The boys are getting so big....too big really. Joshua just turned five in September and Dawson will be two in February. They are both so smart & handsome and we couldn't love them more than we already do. Joshua is currently attending pre-school four afternoons a week & Dawson is enrolled in a once-weekly Kindermusic class. When they are together they love to wrestle one another & play with trucks. Boys will be boys, right?

Okay, I guess a good place to start this blog would be to post some pictures of my husband and I. We're cute, huh??? ha ha!

Welcome to our mayhem......

Okay, well, I've seen enough people posting blogs that I decided to give it a try. I guess it will give people a chance to see what's new with the Martinez crew...as if I don't keep everyone updated anyways.

Well, we added a member to the family. We adopted a black lab puppy whom we named Tucker. So now the family consists of Daniel, Summer, Joshua, Dawson, and the dogs- Kayla & Tucker. We should've gotten a girl to help even things out but it looks like Kayla & I are on our own....and since all dogs act like guys anyways, I guess I'm just alone with a bunch of icky, icky boys!!! Good thing they're all cute (most of the time at least)!!!
