Happy Birthday Dawson!!!

Oh my gosh, my little boy turned 3 on the 20th!!!! I cannot believe how quickly time has gone by- he's supposed to be my little infant & now he's my big boy who is going to be a big brother to my next infant! Yikes!! Anyways, he wanted a Monster Truck birthday party, which isn't suprising at all. I got wall decals of monster trucks for the boy's room anyways, and I waited until the party to use them & I just stuck them all over the walls of the living room for decoration- to later be moved into the bedroom. Perfect, easy decorating!

Anyways, he had the best birthday ever & he keeps asking for another one. He is so so so cute, and handsome, and funny, and smart. What can I say? I love him!

A poster & decals for the party.

Everybody playing games.

Eating his cake.

Landon helped Dawson open most of his presents- too cute!

So proud of his new tools!

After the party...licking his cake truck.

And then getting it dirty again by running thru the cake!

Countdown....

Okay, if anyone happened to notice the baby ticker on the side went down pretty quickly, it's because I changed it. My c-section has been officially scheduled for the 20th of March, so now the ticker is counting down the exact number of days!!!! Not long, not long at all!! The 20th should be easy for me to remember though, since Dawson's is Feb. 20th. And speaking of, I'm working on uploading his pictures from his birthday. I'll get them posted soon!!!

Monster Truck Weekend!

Last weekend we planned a trip to Denver to have fun with the boys. They knew we were going down, but didn't know what for. Friday night, we went to Casa Bonita, which was funny. Dawson was scared of the actors putting on the shows & jumping into the water. Joshua & Dawson were both scared for their lives going thru the tunnel. But they had fun.

Then, Saturday morning we told them we were going to see Monster Trucks at the Pepsi Center. Daniel & I were expecting this loud, wonderful reaction. Instead, there was silence. Finally after about 2 minutes Joshua complained that it would be loud & then Dawson started crying that he didn't want to go. Daniel & I were both so upset. But, as the day went on & they started thinking about it & realizing how much fun it would be, they got so excited. They ended up having so much fun neither of them wanted to leave. Daniel literally had to carry Dawson out of the Pepsi Center kicking, screaming, and crying "Why we have to leave Monster Trucks?" He was soooooooooooo sad. But it was a great time & we're so glad our boys enjoyed it as much as we initially thought they would.

Dawson watcing the show at Casa Bonita.

He's kinda scared.

The "shooting" part of the show was loud for Joshua.

The boys at the waterfall outside Casa Bonita.

Me & my boys.

The boys posing by the fish at Bass Pro Shop. They like going there just to see all the fish & other "stuffed" animals.

The six trucks at the show that night. From left, El Toro Loco, Blue Thunder, Backwards Bob (a new one that is really weird), Monster Mutt, Donky Kong, and Grave Digger.

Watching the show.

Posing with his flag. He wanted an El Toro flag because that one is Meezy's favorite.

Joshua with the Grave Digger flag- his favorite.

Donky Kong jumping.

El Toro smashing the cars.

Blue Thunder doing his thing.

My favorite picture. Grave Digger flying thru the air.

Just My Cute Son

Here are just a few pictures of my adorable boy playing in his Cars tent. He got it for Christmas a year ago, and already looks so much bigger than he did when he got it. Then I added some pictures Dawson took of himself. What a goofball!
"What are you doing Mom?"

He looks so big in this picture...maybe it's just his big eyes though, IDK!

He took this picture himself.

And he took this one also.

My Artist

Dawson is becoming quite the artist. A few weeks ago, we decided to paint his room, and he was so excited to help. Needless to say, he only got to help on the first coat & then Daddy took over, but he did such a great job.
The last two photos are of me. And while I don't usually pike posting pictures of just me, I'm posting them because Dawson is also becoming quite the photographer. He takes my camera around the house & just snaps pictures all day long. He's actually really good at it, and it keeps him occupied for a long time. So, Dawson took those pictures of me.
He is so proud of his art work on the wall.

Dawson's painting.

The painter in action.

I'm sitting at my desk & Dawson is sitting on the floor taking this picture.

Yep, that's my tounge. Enjoy.

Rub a Dub Dub- Fun in the Tub

The boys wanted me to take some pictures of them in the bath...no really. They thought they were so funny & wanted me to capture it all. So, below, I give you the bath photos of my silly, silly boys.
Joshua looks cold.

Such a cheesy grin from Dawson- as ususal.

Okay, I have no idea what sign Joshua is throwing up, but he thinks he's really cool.

I wish I could see Dawson's beautiful eyes!

So cute, even wet & naked.
