Monster Truck Weekend!

Last weekend we planned a trip to Denver to have fun with the boys. They knew we were going down, but didn't know what for. Friday night, we went to Casa Bonita, which was funny. Dawson was scared of the actors putting on the shows & jumping into the water. Joshua & Dawson were both scared for their lives going thru the tunnel. But they had fun.

Then, Saturday morning we told them we were going to see Monster Trucks at the Pepsi Center. Daniel & I were expecting this loud, wonderful reaction. Instead, there was silence. Finally after about 2 minutes Joshua complained that it would be loud & then Dawson started crying that he didn't want to go. Daniel & I were both so upset. But, as the day went on & they started thinking about it & realizing how much fun it would be, they got so excited. They ended up having so much fun neither of them wanted to leave. Daniel literally had to carry Dawson out of the Pepsi Center kicking, screaming, and crying "Why we have to leave Monster Trucks?" He was soooooooooooo sad. But it was a great time & we're so glad our boys enjoyed it as much as we initially thought they would.
