Fun at the park

Sunday Dawson & I went to the duck park & had fun just playing around. I showed Dawson how you can cover yourself with the leafs & he was so excited. So, here are some pictuers of the fun he was having.

He always has his sunglasses on hand.

Here I made him take them off so I could see his eyes.

Gosh he's cute.

And now it's time to be crazy!

Halloween Fun

Oh, Halloween. We didn't have Joshua for Halloween so we carved pumpkins before when we had him here. Dawson chose a ghost coming out of a pumpkin & Joshua chose a skeleton pirate. They had a good time.
My boys & their pumpkins.

He's so proud.

How sweet.

Joshua's pumpkin.

Dawson's pumpkin.

He's so sweet looking when he actually smiles for me.
Lightning McQueen's Pit Crew Member- it's as close as we were getting to being Lightning McQeen himself.

"I'm cool & I know it. Stop taking pictures."
Always silly.

The Cuffe Wedding

Josh & Kindra got married this weekend and, of course, it was a beautiful wedding. Kindra looked wonderful and the wedding was a lot of fun. My husband was one of the groomsmen, and may I say, he looked so handsome. We were both pretty exhausted by Sunday because of the rehersal dinner (the same night as Halloween), the wedding, and the brunch on Sunday. Of course, Daniel was more tired than I was because, unlike him, I didn't stay up till 4am the night before the wedding drinking with the guys. Silly boys!!! Anyways, below are some pictures of the fun.
What a beautiful bride.

My husband walking with Amdanda- too bad I cut off the top of his head.

Kindra & Josh. What a beautiful couple.

Suprised my hubby- but Amanda is beautiful of course.

Chris & his daughter. She got pretty sleepy at the end of the night cuz she was out dancing all night long.

The happy couple dancing.

My husband getting his grove on.

Me and my hubby. He's a tad drunk by this point. But he's still cute.

Papa's deer & Alexis

The first picture is of Papaloma & Dawson with the deer Papaloma got. Dawson was very interested in the deer & wanted to be by it...just not too closely or he freaked out. The following two pictures are of Dawson & his first crush. We met Alexis over a year ago in his Kindermusic class & he was obsessed. It's easy to see why though, she's a cutie. Now we hang out with them every now & again & Dawson has fallen all over for her. Ha ha!
Dawson & Papaloma with his deer.

Her hair got really staticy from our couch & then she was trying to show us her hillbilly dance. She's adorable.

Alexis is exactly 18 months older than Dawson. She's small- he's tall!

Dawson's fishing trip

We took Dawson on a fishing trip all by himself & he had a blast. He went to the river & to Twin Lakes. At the lake, he caught his first fish. But Daniel let it go too fast for me to take a picture because he didn't know it was Dawson's first fish ever- yeah, he's already mixing up his son's!!! Anyways, I caught a fish, Dawson caught a fish, and Daniel caught a STICK!! That's Dawson's newest favorite story to tell everyone!! ha ha!

Look how handsome my fisherman is.

This is down at the river in BV. So pretty.

He can actually cast his pole really well.

This was at the lake, earlier in the day.

The boys fishing.

Joshua's 6th Birthday!!!

Happy Happy Birthday to Joshua! Joshua's birthday was on September 24th, and we had his birthday party the weekend before. He wanted an Army themed party and it was a lot of fun. Oh, to be young again. I can't believe he's getting so flippen old.
Gosh, look at all those presents?? And yet NONE of them were for me!

The Army-themed birthday cake. It only looks good because I didn't attempt to make it!

The family birthday hat & the adorable birthday boy. I wonder what he wished for?

Hmm, cake on the nose? Does it taste better that way?

Dawson has to show of his frosting mouth too of course.

Opening presents- how fun!!

The boys playing with all the new stuff.

The birthday boy trying out is aim on his new dart board.

Gold Camp Racing

In early September Daniel had his last race of the season- Gold Camp in Victor, CO. This was the most exciting race for the boys because it had real live excitment- Daniel blew out two tires on one of the runs! It was perfect because he didn't crash (thankfully) but the boys thought it was the coolest thing because his truck had to get towed down on the wrecker. Dawson made me tell that story as a bedtime story for over a month. And now, he's still obsessed with flat tires. What silly boys I have!
This truck isn't for Daddy, they boys are going racing!!!

" We're ready for racing day!!!"

Daniel's truck coming off the wrecker. My poor honey!

There the boys go, hurrying to change two tires before the next cycle.

Oh course Dawson has to make funny faces, but can you believe how dirty both these boys are?? All day of playing in the dirt!!!!

At the end of the race they have a "mechanic's run" where you can drive someone else's ride. Daniel rode Dusty's brother-in-law's ATV up the mountain.

My Boys & The Jeep

This summer we purchased a very cheap Jeep that was nothing but a toy to go in the mountains with the boys & get dirty. It's not all that special, but the boys love it & we've had a lot of fun in it. Below are a couple of pictures.
There you see Joshua & Me. Can you tell we've been hitting some mud?

My hubby, taking pictures to see what the Jeep can do.

They are so fun!
